Fadia ClarkeCommunity Governor
Fadia Clarke
Fadia Clarke is the Campus Principal for the Bromley and Orpington sites within the London South East Colleges (LSEC) group, serving as Deputy Principal for Study Programmes and ESOL across the organisation. She holds an MA in Leadership and Management, a PGCE (FE) from the University of Reading, and a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Warwick.
With over 25 years of experience in the Further Education (FE) sector, Fadia has led a broad range of strategic and operational initiatives. Her career spans the management of multiple academic and vocational departments, the leadership of a University Centre, and the development of apprenticeship programmes up to degree level. She has also established direct enrolment provision for 14–16 year olds within an FE College and set up a High Needs centre to support learners with additional needs. Her leadership has contributed to significant improvements in the performance of several colleges, including those that have progressed from Ofsted ratings of ‘inadequate' to ‘good'.
Alongside her executive roles, Fadia is a lead Ofsted inspector, specialising in apprenticeships and provision for young learners. She has inspected a wide range of institutions, including Sixth Form Colleges, FE Colleges, and independent training providers.
Earlier in her career, Fadia worked with British Rail on the Eurostar terminus project, where she earned her MISE in Chartered Structural Engineering.

Lynn GilfellonCommunity Governor
Lynn Gilfellon
Lynn is a dedicated and compassionate single mother to two extraordinary boys who live with a range of additional needs, including ADHD, Autism, Epilepsy, and complex challenges. Her youngest son attends the highly regarded Grafham Grange School, where he continues to thrive.
With a strong belief in the power of inclusive education and community engagement, Lynn has served as a Parent Governor at Bramley Oak Academy and now contributes her time and insight as a Local Community Governor. She is deeply passionate about supporting mental health in schools and works closely with other parents to help navigate the often complex and emotional journey through the education system.
Outside of her governance role, Lynn finds joy in photography and spending time in nature. She's often spotted outdoors, camera in hand, following her youngest son with a coffee in one hand and Zones of Regulation tools in the other—always ready to support, encourage, and capture the moment. Her lived experience, empathy, and unwavering commitment make her a valued voice in the school community.

Cheryl Lloyd
Cheryl Lloyd is the Head of Evaluation at Purposeful Ventures. With over 15 years of research experience, she specialises in evaluating programmes aimed at improving educational outcomes and supporting families, children, and young people. Cheryl previously served as Group Director of Policy and Research at the London South East Education Group and as a Programme Head at the Nuffield Foundation, where she managed research portfolios on secondary, further, and higher education, as well as the teaching workforce.

Sam Rawlinson
Sam Rawlinson is a dedicated Class Teacher and the Maths Lead at Bramley Oak Academy. Now in his fourth year at the school, Sam brings both experience and enthusiasm to his role, with a strong commitment to the academic and personal development of every pupil. He is deeply passionate about creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. Sam is especially driven by the belief that every child deserves access to a strong, supportive community that fosters both learning and personal growth. He looks forward to continuing his journey at Bramley Oak Academy and contributing to its vibrant and caring school culture.

Lucy Matthewson
Lucy Matthewson is a highly experienced retail buyer with expertise across multiple categories, including Horticulture and Fresh Produce. Lucy specialises in Sourcing, Negotiation, Strategic and Brand Development, driving sustainable, profitable growth while adapting to evolving customer needs. Throughout Lucy's career she demonstrates the ability to collaborate across the supply chain with partners to deliver impactful results.Lucy now works as an International Trade Consultant, advising SMEs on capacity building and market access, specifically in the EU and UK, leveraging her extensive experience to help clients grow and thrive. -
